Hi,
I've a question while waiting (Four days I think) for my CV1:
Is Judder/jitter gone in CV1?
Cause my experience with DK2 was seriously compromised by judder, even with 1.3.
I've tried everything: Refresh rate, V-sync, FPS cap, no power cord, tried all USB ports.
All this things without any result.
I've an
i5 4670k
16 Gb ram (Corsair Vengeance)
Geforce 980 GTX.
Monitor AOC 144 Hz

Thanks!

Luca

The timewarp takes care of most problems, it does keep the tracking smooth without judder, but you can still see the actual game stuttering in some situations.

Most like you will have judder with the CV1 if you have it already with the DK2. There have to be something wrong with your system. On my gtx970 all games running smoothly.

Judder is effectively gone, assuming you are running on compatible hardware at recommended settings. Judder *is* still possible, for example, if you have an under-powered machine or put all the settings on max when your computer can't handle it. Your machine looks like it should be compatible, so I'm not sure why you're having problems.

I've tried everything on DK2. I was thinking at the refresh rate of my monitor (144 hz) but i've tried a lot of refresh rates (60/75/100/120) with no success. I've tried to attach tracking camera to all usb ports of my computer.
I've tried to run the oculus test to see if my system is capable to support rift (I've attached my result on this post). So, no idea what can cause judder to DK2.
Ah, i've a MSI Z87 as motherboard.

BTW my CV1 is on Milan today. So I should receive it tomorrow. I'll try hoping to see a judder free festival 😄  😄

Another thing: Judder start even if i'm not moving my head around. It's like this video I've found on this forum (I've not recorded this video):

It's the same effect that I've in my DK2.

That not judder. It's jitter (which is a common confusion). It could be a defective sensor.
