Keep losing hdmi connection over and over. Sometimes I have to reinstall oculus again to fix it.

It happens every 5-15 mins at random timing. Oculus screen goes dark and it reboots. If I am lucky, my applications come back to where it was or if I get unlucky, I lose everything on screen and reinstall oculus rift again.

My spec
I7 6700k
Asus Z170E mobo
16gb ddr4 ram
MSI GTX 970 4g gaming
Corsair 1200 watts gold psu
Inateck Superspeed 4 ports pci-e to usb 3.0 expansion card(the one oculus suggested)

it's annoying heck out of me. Also half of times when it loses hdmi, oculus ask me to update driver on oculus home screen on pc and even if I do that, it loses connection yet again and tells me update again and again.

Is my unit defected or what? I know my gtx 970 hdmi port isn't broken becasue it works fine when I hook it up to other monitor and of course I am using lastest nvidia drive for windows 10 64bit, 368.81.
Is my Oculus unit defected or is it my pc?

My Inateck USB 3.0 card arrived yesterday, and I got the same problem if I connect Rift and Sensor into this card. I ordered this card according to the official recommendation, really cannot understand why this would happen. It seems to remind me again that never buy the first generation product.

It seems like it's not just oculus rift. Every device I plug in get same problem. I was wondering why my pc was randomly making usb plug in/off sound when I didn't even touch anything. Inateck USB 3.0 is just junk. I am returning this garbage to amazon. I can't believe it's even registered as amazon's best seller.

Btw, I ordered amazon's another best seller usb 3.0 card from rosewill. It doesn't work with sensor but at least headset works with it without disconnection problem. Since my motherboard supports both sensor and oculus headset, I am going to keep rosewill card for time being. If anyone finds usb 3.0 card that works with oculus, please post. Save us from the trouble.

My Inateck USB 3.0, however, works fine on my pc except oculus rift, I have connected two usb harddrives (each with an external power), a xbox one controller receiver, a xbox 360 controller receiver, and a webcam, they are all working fine, the two usb harddrives are also working at a decent speed of usb 3.0. I suspect if there is something wrong with the card's power supply, I also tested the sata power supply to the card and it should be fine.

Have you tested to see if its the headset itself. I have had a similar issue where after the headset heats up (5-10 mins of play) I would get constant disconnects. I have isolated the problem to the cable connecting to the headset, specifically the connector connecting to the headset. Wiggle it a little once warmed up, disconnects.
