Ok, I'm pretty upset about this one. I will try to remain calm but I am going to attack this from every angle possible to see what's going on here. I'll start with a forum post, then create a ticket.
I have done everything possible to support Oculus since before most people had even heard about them. I backed them on the Kickstarter, I pre-ordered both Rift (within 2 hours) and Touch (within five minutes) on day one. I bought tons of software, talk about it daily to everybody I know and have personally sold at least 10 people on buying one of these (most of them also buying Touch).
I was just talking to a friend of mine and he is talking about software codes he received for free software he got with Oculus Touch. I never received those codes! He also mentioned the codes expire on the 6th! I've searched my email for everything with Oculus in the subject or body and I looked through my junkmail filters. I never received any of those codes. Also, when my friends checks his "Orders" page on the Oculus.com website, he sees the codes listed there as well. All I see on my page is the order for Oculus Touch and Dreadhalls (which is very strange because I've ordered many games through that account). Something is clearly wrong here. If I end up missing out on those free games I will be RIP $H!T beyond all comprehension!
How many of you have received those codes?! What's going on here and why was I excluded from this deal?!
They aren't being given out till tomorrow because they're still useless. Also, they expire December 6th 2017, so you've got 12 months
That's strange because we work together and he showed me his order page and it shows those codes on his order page. He also received an email on the day he got the shipping notice with the codes in there. Neither one of those are true for me. If it is 2017 then I'm fine as long as I receive the codes, I'll yell at him for scaring me with the date.
I just received an email with a redeem code that says I can download 2 games VR Sports Challenge and The Unspoken the only problem is that The Unspoken is not in the oculus store and VR Sports Challenge is not due for release yet
Yeah, it's strange that some people received that email and some people did not. I just hope that I didn't miss out on something somehow and will not receive those codes. I have been especially interested in The Unspoken since I first heard about it and I was very excited to try it out.
I'm the same. I have redeemed my code but can't download any of the software?!!!!
