Hello all, I played some VR last night no issues woke up this morning to find some weird problems.
Initiallt the issue was SystemUX keeps stopping, I tried clearing cache and storage for the app to no resolution. I then ran a headset factory reset. The system tray now works ok and doesnt crash HOWEVER, everytime I try to open the app tray I now get a blank grey box that looks like a notification and lose my system tray all together. I tried floating the app browser in parallel view this shows the app browser but it's all blanked out and inaccessible behind the blank glitches notification with no system tray.
Any help whatsoever will be appreciated.
Side note I also relogged and reset oculus all on my phone

My app drawer partially I opens, I can see 7 blank app thumbnails saying app not installed. In the app tab in settings they show up under lock-app option as null. But I still have a grey overlay in the app library so I can not select anything. I've factory reset, but this does not clear those null apps

same Issue here,

Also had the SystemUX keeps stopping Error start yesterday resulting in me attempting a factory reset which is when this issue started
P.S doesnt look like there is enough stuff installed on the headset as it has 4GB used and I sware it used to have like at least 50GB worth of OS stuff alone

I did a factory reset😢 Hoping to fix the problem. Nope. Still the same issue. So all i can do is is search for a game then stay in that same screen till it downloads. If i leave that screen the download stops. i think

My sons oculus quest 2 has just done this same issue about 2hrs ago! Open app library and only gets a grey rectangular box. Been reading but nothing suggested works. Did factory reset and uninstall, reinstalled and nothing has fixed it! My son is in tears thinking he's done something wrong!

As an update. I have not marked this thread as resolved clearly a system update has caused this on mass I suspect it has something to do with the side by side app view. I have provided relevant details via my support case. Perhaps a roll back is required on an unstable system update to fix. Given standalone headsets are most likely the largest effected.
Can the team acknowledge timeline to resolving now that there are many cases being reported?

We are having the same issue.
Have tried restarting. Didn’t help. Screen keeps flashing on and off. Unable to load any apps.

It’s not Not some members. Many members are experiencing this. This is ridiculous.
I’m thinking, “ Glad I didn’t buy a quest pro.”
Thanks to this issue, I haven’t been able to use the headset for over 5 days, for which I’m going to demand refunds for all of the games I recently purchased.
Will update v. 50 fix the problem? If so, when will it become available?? We need some answers here!
