Known issue - Rift S: No Haptic Feedback in OpenXR games when Meta Quest Link is the active runtime

Since an update of the Meta Quest Link app in June 2024, the Rift S controllers are not vibrating in OpenXR games any more if Meta Quest Link is set as the active OpenXR runtime.

Example: Beat Saber (bought from the Oculus PC store / now Meta Quest Link)

Temporary solution: use SteamVR as OpenXR runtime.

How to switch the OpenXR Runtime from Oculus to SteamVR:

1. Launch SteamVR (no need to wear the HMD)
2. In the little SteamVR status window, click the the Menu on top, and go to settings
3. In "OpenXR", make sure that SteamVR is selected as runtime

This works for me (Rift S) to fix the missing haptics on my Rift S Touch controllers in OpenXR games.

The issue persists with the most recent Meta Quest Link-App version 72.0.0.475.353 (72.0.0.475.353)
