Left controller battery drained quicker than right

Hey all,

Last night whilst playing a game, I had the notification that the left controller had ran out of battery. I checked and it was at 0%, whilst the right was still at 70% and I'm right handed.

I've only had my quest 3 for under 2 weeks, so thought that this is strange. Would this be a case of just changing batteries or is there something wrong with the actual controller?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

not any help but my quest 3 is the same.  I'm Right handed too.  there's usually a 30% to 50% higher difference is the right controller battery than my left.  I change the batteries at the same time in both controllers

Hey there everyone, we appreciate you all reaching out with this interesting battery question. It's actually quite normal to experience uneven battery drain between controllers. There are several factors that can contribute to this, but the primary reason is usually the varying usage of haptics in different games. For instance, if you're playing Beat Saber and a song has more left notes than right notes, the left controller will likely provide haptic feedback more frequently than the right one.
