Left controller falsely reading battery life.

The battery in the left controller will supposedly drain in a matter of hours. If I take the supposedly completely drained battery out of the left controller and place it in the right controller, it will be at full power, and work perfectly. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

I would say contact Oculus support first for an answer. The forums aren't really the best places for this.

If you still have the warranty, contact Oculus for a replacement (Or maybe you don't need warranty idk).

Probably a poor quality or failing battery imho.  Otherwise, as op said, contact Oculus Support.

If you call a brand new Energizer Ultimate Lithium a low quality battery, then yes, that's the problem. As I said, only one controller will consistently read a battery as drained, the other one will read it at full power. There is some sort of bug in either the hardware or the software that causes only about 5% of a battery's charge to be detectable and useable by one of the controllers. It used to happen in my right controller, now it happens in the left one. There is evidently a lot of people experiencing this problem who haven't yet realised that the battery charge is being read incorrectly and in fact still has a very high charge left.
