Left lens shuts off in pass through after initial boot up/link popup not appearing

Issue 1.
My left lens on my meta quest 2 has been acting a little weird as of recent, when I start up my headset, the initial pass through when I first turn on the headset (boundary confirmation) is perfectly fine but when I swap from immersive mode to pass through after the boundary confirmation the left lens just goes entirely grey, I have tried changing to pass through by stepping out of my play space, double tapping the right side of the headset and pressing the passthrough button in the menu and every time the left lens just goes completely grey

Issue 2.

When I try to plug my quest 2 into my pc to add some mods to blade and sorcery nomad/bonelab, I would normally get a popup that says "allow connected device to access files on this device" but now when I plug it in the popup is nowhere to be found, I have tried every single usb port on my pc and none of them work, I have tried 3 different cables even the stock one and no luck and yes I disabled air link

Sorry for the late reply, I found a fix by using a third party app called sidequest which allowed me to access the files on my quest 2.

Things to check:

  • Please disconnect the headset cable from both the PC and the headset and inspect it for any damage.
  • please verify that all connections to the PC are secure (Make sure that the headset did not come loose during general use of the headset.).
  • Please confirm that you're using a USB 3.0 port.
  • Please remove any USB splitters/extensions.
  • If possible, please try another USB 3.0 or 3.1 port.
  • If possible, please try your headset on a different PC.
