Hi,
I am having problems running OpenGL code with DK2 on Lenovo W541.
It has NVIDIA Optimus graphics, and Oculus SDK OpenGL example reports failure to create texture while initializing. If one tries to force Oculus runtime to run on NVIDIA GPU through software means (via NVIDIA control panel), Oculus runtime service keeps on crashing.
I know Oculus currently does not support Optimus graphics, and W541 does >not< have option to turn Intel GPU off in BIOS.
However, I understand that when display is routed through the docking station (e.g. external monitor), it can be configured to use NVIDIA GPU in BIOS.
So my question is: does anybody have experience using Lenovo W54x and Oculus DK2 through the docking station successfully (OpenGL running)?
Thank you!
Ivan
