Hi, when we first got the VR I set this up with my phone and meta app and I used my Facebook to log in. Fast forward a while and now my son uses it more than I do and has some followers etc. I’d now like to have the meta quest app on his phone as opposed to mine. Is it possible without him being logged in using my Facebook.
Hi there, @Ted_di! Making sure you're able to enjoy your VR experience to the fullest is definitely a priority for us, so we'd be glad to lend a hand with that account! To start, the Facebook account linked your Meta account can be unlinked through your Accounts Center. Simply log in using the Facebook account, go to 'Accounts' to the right, and click 'Remove' next to the Facebook. Once the social media account has been unlinked from your Meta account, you can log in using the email address associated with the account instead! If you are unsure as to the password on the account when logging in, feel free to change it here. From there, you can log out of the Meta account on your own phone, download the Meta Quest mobile app on your son's phone, and log in there using the "Continue with email" method. You can make sure the headset and new phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, reboot the headset, and you should be able to continue using it as normal.
