Logged out and won’t log me back in

I set up my oculus account and was all fine, I’ve purchased various games, and I’m now seeing that when I try to log in it won’t allow me, and shows that I’ve made zero purchases. Can you help??

Hey @Anonymous! That's pretty odd. 

 

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind:

 

  • Did you ever create a new account?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting?
  • When did you see it happen?
  • Did you change your Facebook or Oculus password recently?

 

Also, there is a couple things to test out:

 

  • Uninstall the Oculus app.
  • Log out of the Facebook app.
  • Reboot your headset:
    • Turn off the headset.
    • Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons together until the boot menu loads.
    • Use the Volume Buttons to highlight Boot Device and press the Power Button.
  • Login to the Facebook app with your Phone number linked.
  • Reinstall the Oculus app and login.

Yes my original account that I bought all of the games for my son is hlaurabernice@gmail.com  I made another which is linked to my Facebook which is hlaurabernice@hotmail.co.uk which I purchased 1 game for myself that I don’t use. The headset logged out of my sons account randomly. I tried to get back in using hlaurabernice@gmail.com but it then says to log in with Facebook so automatically links in to mine and doesn’t let me use the gmail account which I bought lots of games on.

Today I just got on to my headset and said i was logged out and to enter a code. I went to my desktop and entered it said to enter my work email but i don't have one

Hey there, @RAGEFANG204! You shouldn't have to continue without being able to enjoy the full VR experience on your headset, so we wanted to pop in to help out! To clarify this situation a bit, please share the following details when you get a chance:

  • Is your headset still paired in the Meta Quest mobile app?
  • What is the specific error message you're encountering on your headset? 
  • Are you able to log into your Meta account online here?
  • So we don't repeat any, what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

so I got on my headset about a week ago and it says ive been logged in and to enter the code so I went to my computer typed in the code and it says enter the work email but I never set up a work email I only set up the email used to create my account and it still wont let me log into the headset
