Just started to get the good old login to user forum problem with my chrome browser. Clearing cache didn’t help. Still seems fine with my iPhone safari browser, for now anyway.
Usual bs about this call accesses the user ID platform feature, ………..
Edit; also effecting Edge browser.

Update; I started a support ticket on this a couple of days ago a it looks like something has worked because I can just now login to this forum again. Thanks meta support.
Edit; working ok now with both my win11 PC Chrome and iPhone Safari browsers.

Hey guys, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you describe this issue with a little bit more detail or point me to another thread that explains it better? I'd really appreciate it.
Also, standard questions, how long has this been happening and has it happened to you before?
Thank you!

I have had this issue for about a week and I have just been able to log back in.
This thread was helpful.
This is an issue with the forum rather than my account. Quality Control 🙂

Back in😁
Thank you Meta..... glad you make it working again.
Still, I had to rant a bit
For the past few days the forum has been almost dead because most people couldn't login and got this error message:
This call accesses the User ID platform feature which requires certification through the Oculus Data Use Checkup program. I’ve also contacted support and they said they have technical issues.
That’s ok, **bleep** happens……. but what I really don't understand.....
Why don’t you give users some information in situations like this?
Why don't you put some kind of banner on the forum page??
Something like:
"Sorry, currently login is not possible due technical issues. We are working to resolve it."
Of course, it would still be annoying that we can't log in, but at least people would know Meta is aware of the problem and users wouldn't have to open a support ticket about it.
I don't know how many people opened a ticket because of that issue…… but I’m sure, support had to answer many, many mails about it.
Time that probably could have been used better!

The implementation of this forum is a joke. Why have login credentials linked to developer access.... it's just a forum.
@Choleni is correct. If meta had any respect for it's user base there would be a banner stating the forum was down.
And they want to create a metaverse, when they can't even keep a forum up an running. It just beggars belief.
