This is the only game I have a problem with and even with an upgraded computer, I still have the same issue I had before. If I set the Refresh rate on my Quest to 90Hz, when looking at the Meta performance graph it shows I'm getting a constant 87 FPS, which makes the game stutter. If I drop the refresh rate to 80Hz, I get around 77FPS looking at the performance graph. Dropping down to 72Hz, I get 68FPS and all of these settings cause the game to stutter because it drops the FPS to lower than the refresh rate.
What is going on here? No other game does this and I have tried everything to fix it. I've even set the resolution to as low as it will go, but I still get the FPS dropping below the refresh rate. I have a 3080ti and a i7 12700k and though I would have no problem playing this game. Others seem to get it playing smooth and I have found out why. When I play this game on my WMR HP Reverb using Hdmi the game plays smooth and flawlessly, but I want to play it using Quest 3. So my question is this. Why does it run smooth without stutter on my HP Reverb G2, but stutter on the Quest because the frame rate is always below the refresh rate? Please help I want to finally play this game after purchasing it years ago.
