Yesterday I was using Euro Truck Simulator 2 in VR but had a problem at the end of my session, I have now lost VR completely?
I went to have a drive this afternoon, settings were as of yesterday but the game refused to go into VR mode on the Quest 3 and instead ran on my PC desktop but with the error counter in top-left running away rapidly.
I rebooted all the hardware, tried again but no VR.
I tried Virtual Desktop which worked for the PC desktop but not for ETS2 which did run on VirtualDesktop but only as a 2D app not VR.
I rebooted, went back to Meta and now I have lost the desktop completely - all i get is what i call the infinity white-room, no desktop or UI at all.
I'm running the Quest 3 over airlink via a dedicated WiFi6 router and has been great for over 6 months until now. I have no idea how to debug this at all.
This is where i gave up, very annoyed at finally getting some PC time only to have total failure.
Not since last week, it was fine yesterday until I finished my trucking task in ETS2 then something went wrong, I thought it was just a software glitch as I closed the game down, but today I have no VR at all.
@dave.186035 it could be an incompatibility between the PCVR and quest OS versions or a dodgy update to one of the two that's causing the issue.
