Lost tracking

When I turn on my headset it says headset tracking lost

If your headset has lost tracking it could be caused by one of these issues:

• Your playing environment is too bright and might be oversaturating the tracking cameras
• Your playing environment might be too dark for the cameras to track the surrounding area
• Your headset's cameras might need to be cleaned, here is how to clean it -> How to clean headset

Moreover you could try to make sure that your headset's tracking is turned on:

1. Click on the clock on the left side of the universal menu
2. Select Settings
3. Select System from the Settings panel
4. Select Headset Tracking from the left side panel
5. Make sure Headset Tracking is ticked

You could also try to clear your boundary history by doing the following:

1. Press the Oculus/Meta logo on your right controller
2. Click on the clock on the left side of the universal menu
3. Select Settings
4. In the settings panel, select Boundary
5. Select 'Clear Boundary history'
6. Redraw your Guardian boundaries by selecting 'Adjust Boundary' from the Boundary settings menu

Thanks for the help but nothing seems to work I can’t get the controllers to connect anymore and I’m frustrated. Is there anyway I can buy a new headset only not the whole set

I personally am not sure where you could officially buy a headset standalone, Meta does offer refurbished headsets here but only offers the whole package and not the headset alone.

But what I can do for now is I can route you to @MetaQuestSupport who have more resources to be able to look into helping fix your issue with your headset!
