I have had my Rift for just under two weeks now, and it works perfectly except for a constant and very loud buzzing in the included headphones whenever the device is active. I have tried every single USB port on my computer to no avail. It's very distracting and significantly affects my level of immersion.
Have you tried to remove the headphones and clean the contacts and then reattach? You can remove them with the small black peg that comes with the kit. Please see if that helps at all. Otherwise, you can submit a support ticket for assistance. Thanks. https://support.oculus.com/
I did try that. as well as swapping them around, no dice. I do have a support ticket open now but I was hoping the community might have an idea.
