I was playing my quest three turned it off, put it to charge and now it won’t turn back on and the fan is very loud. Screen is totally black and the fan is running extremely loudly help
@Err1980 you have a couple of options. Using the boot menu facility you can hard boot the headset and maybe it will resolve the issue. Or factory reset the headset,
From the Headset:
Power off the headset
Press and hold volume down & Power
This will boot into the USB Update Mode menu
Press volume button to move selection, press power button to make the selection
Navigate to Power Off and press the power button or
Navigate to Factory Reset and press the Power button

Thanks that didn’t work though and I had to send the headset to Meta for a replacement
