Low light warning on Quest 3 (whatever the amount of light in the room...)

Cholo-

I keep getting the low light warning, even if I turn on ALL the lights in the room.

When it started, I was using the Quest Pro controllers, but the problem got worse and worse until I wasn't even able to use them anymore.
So I paired my Quest 3 controllers, and it worked for a while.
Now I get the low light warning again... the tracking works for now, but the message is super annoying already.
There are 6 (SIX!) lights in the room (mostly indirect), there's plenty of light. I always used the Quest 2, and the quest 3 untill a month ago), with only 4 of those lights, and I never had issues.

Now I can't use 350€ worth of controllers. And my Quest 3 is getting unusable...
Not gonna lie, I'm so frustrated because I spend more time trying to resolve issues with Meta's poor-quality hardware than playing with it. I just replaced a six months old pro controller for stick drift (I replaced many quest 2 ones for the same reason... but I was hoping 350€ worth controllers wouldn't be that bad...), basically I'm spending more time waiting stuff to be replaced than playing VR...

I get the same warning every time as well. It says the room might be too dark for hand tracking, and the room is actually pretty bright. I just ignore the warning.

Are you getting these warnings while using the controllers, or only when using hands?

could you share the exact warning text you are seeing (you should not be seeing hands related warnings while using controllers)

In my case it just said something like "might be too dark for hand tracking". I actually haven't seen that message again since posting the original response. The odd thing about that is since then one of the bulbs in my ceiling fan has burned out and I haven't got around to replacing it yet, so I would have thought the room is a little darker now than when I was getting the message.

I never really use hand tracking. I would just get the message when first putting on the headset and picking up the controllers. It never happened while actually playing.

How do you guys expect to solve any issue if you don't even read half a post?

I'm kinda forced to ask other people because your customer service is trash, On the last ticket I opened, I've been told "Quest pro controllers are not supported by the Quest 3". This is the average knowledge of your operators. You can check the #06597561 ticket, the operator closed the ticket as "SOLVED", such an arrogant ignorant.

There's more issues with this headset then games to play.

Hey @Cholo-! We know that there was some misunderstanding with support. You are completely right; the Meta Quest Touch Pro Controller is in fact compatible with the Meta Quest 3. We'll like to further address the issue for you here by providing these steps to factory reset the controllers specifically. Please try the following:

  1. Right Controller: Hold the A and Oculus buttons until the LED begins flashing red or white.
Left Controller: Hold the X and Menu buttons until the LED begins flashing red or white.
  2. Release the buttons immediately after the LED begins blinking red or white.
  3. Perform a manual pairing and check if the controller LED will flash blue and white to signal the pairing state.
  4. Once paired, controllers may take a while to update and stay unresponsive until they finish, and LEDs would be purple during the update.

Please let us know if these steps help. We look forward to hearing back from you!

I get the warning that light is too low for hand use while trying to use my controllers in a room that’s blazing bright.   I have used the same space for years with my quest devices.  Does not matter which controllers but I’m having same issues with pros that were mentioned above.

These steps are only successful with pro controllers part of the time but even when it it the headset will not track the pro controllers. Buttons on them work but no tracking.  You can’t see controllers in the avatars hands either but the buttons work.
