Low performance while using steam vr

I'm currently using a RTX 3050 and an oculus quest 2 with oculus link. it used to work fine with no stutters/compression artifacts when using steam VR games

Suddenly I now have low performance and a lot of compression artifacts when using steam VR apps (beat saber, HL:A, etc.) but native oculus pc apps works fine with little to no performance issues

Same here, i have rtx 3050 on my laptop and every game demanding games or not is unplayable to me atm and it does not change when i bypass SteamVR to play games on my Steam.

i fixed it, you have to go to settings search "graphics settings". click browse a file explorer window should now pop up. put your SteamvVR [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64\vrdashboard.exe] into the file explorer window and select vrdashboard.exe and change it to "high peformance" do this with your games and it should help.
