The last couple of days the PC Oculus App is downloading games terribly slow. No it’s not my internet, modem, router or my PC. I am speed testing at 1100mbps and every other download on other apps are downloading normal. This just started recently and was working fine a few days ago. What’s going on META?

Hi, I bought Assassins Creed Nexus in the Oculus app on my phone and tried to download to my Quest 2, which is compatible with the game, and nothing happened. When I looked at my Quest 2, I can't find the game in my applications, only on the store. I can't however download it as the download button is stuck on a blue spinning wheel.
Please help!

I think it is around 17GB. You may want to check your free space. Also, could it still be downloading?

Hey there, @WickedBlue! You shouldn't have to continue with these slower download speeds keeping you from enjoying the games you're installing, so we'd be glad to check into this situation for you. To begin with, let's ensure that we have all the pertaining details to this particular issue. Please clarify the following information when you get a chance:

Older thread i know but i have a oculus rift installed on gaming PC. Downloading any game is horrendous as in KBPS i have been downloading elite for 2 days and still only at 10 gig of the 21 gig game. My network is wired and speed tests are giving me 350Mbps download and 57Mbps upload so nothing wrong with my network this must be a meta problem ? downloading games from steam fly in ???

[NOT AN ACTUAL SOLUTION, THIS IS MARKED FOR VISIBILITY]
Hey guys, are we still running into this speed issue or did anyone find a fix on their own? I'm collecting info to pass along to our engineering team. Anything helps!
EDIT 12/8:
This has been brought up to the engineering team! I'll be posting an update here as soon as I get more news from them. Thanks so much to everyone that contributed to this thread, all of the information shared definitely helps our team figure out how we can move forward!

Hello,
thank you for answering our request. No, there is no solution on the client side. This is a server issue. In the past week, I was unable to find a single person who would be able to download normally from Oculus/Meta servers.
If there is any kind of metric, speed test, etc. that you would require, please tell me and I can provide the information.

No, still having the issue. It took me 3 hours to download a 1.8gb game. Trying to download Asgards Wrath…. Forget it!

I don't have much to add other than I'm also having the same issue, multi-gigabit fiber connection and the Oculus desktop app still downloads extremely slowly (we're talking sub 5mbps). There are multiple posts on /r/oculus/ about this. Unfortunately nobody's found a workaround yet, which very likely means it's 100% on Meta's side.
Don't you guys have Prometheus or other telemetry to monitor network traffic?

Still the same.
Taken approx 3 mins to get this far:
For reference, here's a game downloading from steam on the same PC:
This must be a Meta issue...
(In the time it took to download the 6.8GB from steam and take these screenshots and write this message, the Oculus app download is at 45MB)
It hasn't always been like this because I downloaded Asgard's Wrath (installed size 143GB) when I got my Quest 3 in mid-October

This is a widespread issue. Something is up with your servers.
