The last couple of days the PC Oculus App is downloading games terribly slow. No it’s not my internet, modem, router or my PC. I am speed testing at 1100mbps and every other download on other apps are downloading normal. This just started recently and was working fine a few days ago. What’s going on META?

Having the same problem here. I can confirm that I'm seeing different speeds for different titles. All extremely slow, but some extraordinarily so.
Asgard's Wrath downloads very slowly, but Robo Recall is substantially slower. The speed difference has been consistent when renewing my IP address and every other non-Meta/Quest application continues to download at the proper speed (with Steam, for example, I'm happily able to download at tens of MBs per second).

Just for information: Here in the Netherlands downloading is also extemely slow. I get 65 MegaBytes (yes, bytes, not bits) on steam, xbox app, GOG, Ubisoft, etc. From your servers falls to a miserable 4 KiloBytes (that's more dan 15000x slower!) most of the time. It isn't our internet speeds, (cabled) networks, wifi or our machines. Please fix this asap! Not a very good experience as a new Quest user.
Btw. The popup that keeps asking for my experience in the forum every few minutes is also annoying as crap, why do you guys do these things?

Might as well as add to this as I am having the same issues, I have really good internet downloading games on steam and files I getting 500-800 mpbs sometimes 1000. But oculus app its so bad. Took almost 4 hours for a 16 gb game and currently I am redownloading beat saber which is like a couple of gbs and its been almost a hour and barely done. Like I have bad speed on this app before its nothing new but this time its on a different level.

Having the same problem where I'm at in the eastern US. Oculus PC app downloads are functionally broken right now. I downloaded a 20GB game on Steam in less than ten minutes, but in that same amount of time the Oculus app has only downloaded 25MB of Lone Echo II. I may as well forget about playing it at all at that rate.
Meta, you need to stop selling games if you can't deliver them.

Not sure where you are at but I just downloaded a 2.2gb game in just under a minute on my 400mbit cable connexion.
Might be a region thing, your ISP/meta server connexion or your headset might have issues with wifi.
Also, regarding installing on your PC, it's 2 different platforms, just like your smartphone. You don't install your smartphone app on your PC. But you can access your PC apps throught your smartphone (ex: SteamLink). Same goes for the Quest.
Hope it helps

Not quite sure what you mean. This thread is for download PCVR games on the oculus PC app. You can play PCVR games with airlink that utilize your PC GPU vice the onboard quest GPU. I'm adding to this topic because I've been downloading Asgards Wrath 1 since 9am currently 4:30pm and have only got 50gigs out of the alleged 130g. The speed has been awful and similar to everyone else in this thread of have gigabit internet and the PC is wired to the router and nothing else has issues downloading.

Looks like you may have posted in the wrong thread. Have a good one.
