[MEGATHREAD - Known Issue] App Download/Install Speed

The last couple of days the PC Oculus App is downloading games terribly slow. No it’s not my internet, modem, router or my PC. I am speed testing at 1100mbps and every other download on other apps are downloading normal. This just started recently and was working fine a few days ago. What’s going on META?

I have 400mbs tested at the same time it has taken me 1 hour to get 1gb of a game downloaded. I am hardwired into the router. I have restarted both my PC and router.

YOU, META, are responsible for this. What is your explanation and resolution?

Same here, tried installing BONEWORKS and after 30 minutes i only got 1 percent done, meta is doing anything about this either which is really sad, i hope this get fixed.

Just chipping in, download via Oculus (UK) is painfully slow.  Steam, MS, Epic all download rapid (and normally).  I have even tried on my work machines (different environment completely) and same issue.

I'm not the O/P or the person to whom you addressed the question, but I have the same problem.  I have taken videos of the Task Manager network graphs, CPU (12th gen i9), SSD (1Tb M2 NVME on PCIe) and here are my answers: 

* Are you downloading these games with your headset in Standalone mode or connected to a PC?

* If using PCVR, are you using Air Link or Link cable?

This pretty much sums up my experiences too.  Thank you for posting.  It is 100% Meta side.  Surely if they try downloading from outside their environment they will see this too?

Do the Engineering Team want any hardware, software or network data from individuals?  I have short videos of network activity, with and without WiFi, Airlink, plus Task Manger data for SSD, CPU and network speeds.

2 hours at these speeds. I am running 1GB line this is nuts.

Same her ein Germany. Lone Echo II is downloading with with around 4 kbytes/sec (LAN no WIFI !!!). Just did a speed check 103 MBit/sec. If Meta cant fullfill the contract, I want my money back!
