The last couple of days the PC Oculus App is downloading games terribly slow. No it’s not my internet, modem, router or my PC. I am speed testing at 1100mbps and every other download on other apps are downloading normal. This just started recently and was working fine a few days ago. What’s going on META?

Hi FT - thanks for checking in on us.
I tried re-downloading Robo Recall and (excluding the installation time) was able to download the full 5.47GB in about 2.5 minutes. While I didn't take the time to perform a full download of the much larger Asgard's Wrath, I was seeing somewhat similar speeds with that title for the first 2.5 minutes, as well.
So, while the downloads aren't as fast as my bandwidth would allow, from the small amount of testing described above, they seem to be entirely acceptable for me at the moment. As far as I'm concerned, while faster speeds are always desirable, if a large title of ~150GB can be downloaded within an hour or two, that's good enough.
Thanks again for keeping us updated.

Hello,
thank you for the query. Yes, the issue has been solved.
As for the future, I still think that you should improve your support by telling the truth that you have an issue on the server side instead of sending your customers into painful, endless loops with checking the configuration on their side.

Sorry to drag up the same old topic but Meta has been lying like scum on this issue hoping we'll go away. They know with 100% certainty that it's their end. This is 101 network testing. I have 2 connections and multiple machines. (don't ask my why but I have both uncapped HFC and GBPS fibre) and it performs the same everywhere. Dirty dogs.. They're either doing it deliberately (which is grounds, at least in my country for suing for false advertising (we have an agency that will do it for us en masse because we have decent consumer rights) if you can't actually download the accompanying 1st AW game because their servers are rigged or they just don't care so much that they've walked off and left the server room to see what happens if they turn off the AC and just let it go.
Meta - on one hand you do some good things. On the other you are parasitic evil.

I have it so i have absolutely no download speed, i have one of the best internets accessible in my country, so, yeah that's not the problem.

I’ve got the same issue on a Quest 3. Support is unable to help me. It’s not my internet. I’be got 5G running at 150 mbps down. The quest downloads games at around 1mb every 2-3 seconds. It took almost 20 hours to download a single game.
Does anyone know how to do an RMA? Support isn’t really able to help me, and I’m still under warranty.

Well, this is an old thread, and this was related to the Meta PC App. Not Quest downloads themselves.
Although, I'd recommend using the Quest Browser to check the internet speed to your Quest. Sometimes ISPs throttle wifi connections when you're using too many devices at once depending on your plan. Similarly, cellular providers will throttle hotspots when you've used too much data.
Besides checking with your network provider, I can only recommend making a new forum post more relevant to your issue.
