My son has a META 3 VR headset and has owned this since beginning of November, since using this he has developed a rash underneath his eyes which is like a eczema rash, after reading reports of the META 2 VR headset and seeing images online there is also the same problem with the META 3, has anyone else experienced such problems and how is best to report this

I recall seeing other messages on this for quest 3, but I don't recall the details. If you go to Amazon and search "quest 3 silicone cover", you'll find a bunch of ~$10 solutions. So if your looking for a solution, this may be your best and fastest choice. The one I personally own is called "Kuject Design Face Pad", and is currently $15. I really like it even though I think these things should cost closer to $5. It fits the quest 3 better for me than the meta recall version fit the quest 2.
If you are trying to get meta to acknowledge the issue and take some sort of action, I can't help with that, although I completely understand why people would want to see something done about it.

I am also having this issue. I owned the quest 2 which had the facial interface recalled for causing skin irritation. It never actually bothered me but the quest 3 has caused a rash on my face that is very unpleasant. The fabric is abrasive. Just spent almost an hour waiting for a chat support agent. I don’t think meta cares about their customers 😕

OMG yes . I was just looking into this. My sons both use the Meta 3 headset but my 9 y/o immediately breaks out with a rash around his eyes. I’ve been applying anti itch cream and eyedrops not sure what is causing it thought but it is very concerning.

Thr fabric covering is causing this, my son has now changed it to a silicone cover but we limit the use of this
He still has a really dry flaky rash under his eyes caused by using this headset. I contacted META they are not interested and just said purchase a silicone cover, if they are aware of this why not make with a silicone cover instead of the harsh material that they have used.
