Pretty sure it’s the 1.19 update.  There are quite a few people popping up with this issue as well including me.

Lots of people are using 1.19, and I've only seen a couple reports about this. Even so, I'd like to try to help get things resolved for you. Can you please upload your LogGatherer zip file?

Also, feel free to submit a support ticket so we can better keep track of the issue. Thanks.

Hello Cybereality, I already sent you the logs yesterday in the “stutter” post but you never answered if you received them. Also it would be appreciated to get feedback regarding what we send to you letting us know of any red flags you see, but I never have all the times I’ve sent you logs in the past.

Please, please, please look into this for us. Just because the majority doesn’t have an issue does not mean it doesn’t exist for some setups. I’m dying to purchase new software for the rift, but not if everything is playing horribly... every game/app. My issues got really bad right after 1.19 and I’ve already tried to roll back nvidia drivers to a couple of versions but no difference and formatted and reinstalled windows. The only thing I can’t check is oculus rift 1.18.... I wish we had that option, because for some it may be the temporary cure.

I have also tried your suggestion of swapping out the amounts of cameras used and different placements and different ports. All of my cameras are showing green and no problems there. No difference in performance though. The performance problems only exist in the oculus rift software all other PC games run flawlessly at ultra settings 60+ FPS

I did look at your logs before I replied in your other thread. Even so, I think it's a good idea to submit a support ticket. It's possible there is some sort of hardware issue, and we may be able to help with a replacement. Or, if it does end up being a software bug, it will be easier to track if you put in a ticket, as this gives up metrics as to how many people report the issue, etc. whereas forum posts can sometimes get lost. Hope that makes sense.

Cyberreality, I’m sorry but you replied to me you think it’s a good idea to submit a ticket, that’s not really answering if you recieved it or giving me info on what you saw wrong or right in it?

I understand, but it sounds like we’re turned into a statistic that if we have enough numbers of issues, we will get help instead of being treated as a equally paying customer who has just as much right to having the optimal Rift experience.

Please understand that I just want to play virtual reality as it’s meant. I have submitted tickets that your team don’t even reply on for weeks sometimes, and when they do they can’t help me and really don’t give me any helpful information to better my situation other than a clean install. That’s happened to me too much and I’m not doing that anymore because it never helped me.

I hope you can understand where I’m coming from because I have been dealing with this for a very long time in one way or another with oculus.

I’m pretty sure it’s not my oculus rift because I own two of them. I have tried both and they both do the same thing.

Just for shits and grins I’ll submit a ticket and see if the process is better and hopefully find actual answers. Do I need to upload my logs again to them I’m guessing?

If you wouldn’t mind following up with this with support I would really appreciate it and I think we may be able to solve this for everyone having this issue not just me. I will let you know who contacts me from support  and we’ll go from there if that works?

A rollback option would be paramount!
