I bought a second hand VR headset from an auction and I factory reset it now I can't proceed, it says this device is managed by another organization, how do I fix this

Sounds to me as if you purchased a second hand Meta For Business headset, you'll want to contact Meta Support to see if they can help.

Proof of purchase shouldn't really matter except in very specific circumstances, so the main points in your first email/message to Meta Support should be:
Mention you bought it second hand via an auction and that you aren't part of whatever business originally owned the headset, provide the exact message the headset is giving you, that you have factory reset the unit already, and also provide them with the headset serial number for the headset.
Meta Support has a tendency to ask for the Box/Unit serial number along with the headset serial number, I imagine you likely don't have the original box it came in with the unit serial number, so I'd give them the serial number for one of the two controllers along with the headset serial number, and refer to the "Find the serial number for your Meta Quest headset and controllers" article on the support site if you're unsure where said serial numbers are located.

But will they help me if I don't have any proof of purchase, because I was not given a receipt

I have done all that now they need proof of purchase
