Meeting Members cant see.

So I am trying to conduct a meeting with my team and when they join the video call they can not see anything inside the virtual reality environment. They are only seeing a black screen, how can i fix this issue?

For some additional context, This issue is being experienced through Horizon Workrooms

 

Hey Oshiro.727299! We understand that you are having issues with Workrooms in that others are able to join but not able to see anything. We know how important it is to be able to use your device as you intended and want to get you pointed in the right direction. If we could start off by asking some questions that could help us better see what is going on. Could you please reply to the following:

 

  • Was this your first time using Workrooms and if it was not have you ever had this problem before?
  • When others join, do they see any error codes or is it just the black screen?
  • Does the audio and visual aspects of Workrooms or is it just the visual?
  • Have you tried to do any troubleshooting steps yourself?

If we could also get you to try the following and see if it helps with the issue:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the app. Make sure you have Workrooms installed in all the devices as well, not just on the mobile.
  • Reboot the headset.
  • Check for any software updates for your headset.
  • Check for any updates for the remote desktop app.

Let us know if any of these steps work and if not just reply with the requested information.
