I've downloaded and installed Azgards Wrath 2. When I launched the game for the 1st time all seemed to work well but I got called away to work so shut it down. When I now try to launch the game I get as far as the Azgard splash screen and it then shuts down bringing me back to my home environment. I've cleared the game data on my oculus cloud and deleted and re-installed the game. Any ideas why the game wont launch guys?
Just to check... you cleared the headset game data and the cloud backup? followed by a headset reboot? From checking Oculus' response on Reddit, I don't think it's necessary to uninstall the game though.
If that doesn't work, the course of action seems to be send a crash report when it happens (click Meta button 5 times).
It seems Meta are looking into it and working on a fix. Hopefully not many people are affected.

Game was downloaded mid Decembre, and I started it for testing. Worked
Being away from it some weeks and then returning gave me the described symptom: on loading I got just three dots, and then CTD after a few seconds.
Deleting save game file in the Quest 3 and also the online save game file as described, rebooting the Quest and then starting the game, did nothing, made no difference. Three dots, followed by the crash.
Then deleting the game, rebooting, reloading/installing the full game, and then starting the game - however without a previous save game file, but from default start - worked.
I assume that one of the updates of the game that there were, broke something, and that saved games from before are not compatible.
Just in case anyone had the issue I had described above. What I ended up doing is making a seperate account in the meta quest. Once I did this, I did the install on Asgards Wrath 2 without deleting ANY of my original data on this new account. Once done, I opened with that account, it opened no problem. Went back to my original account that had the issues and it opened right up with no problems. Have not had the issue again since doing this.
The same thing happens to me, it won't let me start it neither in Quest 3 nor Quest 2.
I even factory reset Quest 3 twice.
The first time I started the game it worked, but now every time I enter the game it throws me out, I leave a video of the problem for you to see support.
Hey, guys. I had the same issue over and over again too. I finally found a fix. Go to your storage and find asgard. Instead of Uninstalling the game, delete the saved data. Now, you have to start over but I also was still at the beginning of the game. Let me know if it works.
