Solved: Meta Quest Messages sent from VR dont send - Meta Community Forums

Recently I have had a issue where when I send a message it says it failed to send and I can't resend it, I tried uninstalling and re-installing the app and it didn't work and I logged out and back in and it didn't work and it's just being annoying and here is a image of what the issue looks like

Hey everyone! I noticed a lot of you were having trouble sending messages from your headset and the mobile app, so I wanted to check in to get a bit more information to bring to the team:

Which Meta Quest device are you using?
Can you check your headset's current version?
- You can check in Quick Settings > Settings > Software Update under the Current Version Details section. The formatting should be 6X.#.#.###.###.#########.
- Is this a PTC build or a live build?
What software version is your Meta Quest mobile app running?
Which internet service provider (ISP) are you with?
If you're using mobile data, who is your mobile data carrier?
Were other online features of the Quest or your phone unavailable, or was it just the messages that weren't sending?

Update:

After raising this one to the team, it looks like they were already aware of it and mitigated it earlier today. The team wants to confirm if anyone is still being impacted by the inability to send messages.

Update 2:

Looks like the issue is resolved given the lack of traction, so I'm going to go ahead with resolving this one. If you still run into issues after the rolled out fix, please feel free to send @MetaQuestSupport a private message for more help!
