New Quest 2 owner. Had convos with business partner via Oculus Chat, and was unable to figure out how to clear those convos out - looked in settings everywhere. Thanks in advance

I too am still experiencing the issue with deleting the messages and it appears again

It’s actually fixed. I delete them every time. It looks weird tho. The notification won’t show up sometimes. I find that deleting the app and then downloading it again will clear the red dot that won’t go away and also give me push notifications when they disappear. Here’s how i fixed my problem.
the head set and the app don’t communicate with each other. If you type a message from the headset it will not load in my app. Maybe weeks later it shows up. Or never. So pick one when you talk to someone and stay there so you get the messages. You can only delete from the app. Not the headset (in my experience ). You have to tap on the persons name at the top and it loads a list of actions. Clear chat and it’s gone. It works every time for me now. I hope this helps

But still no way to delete conversations within the metaquest headset? It's July 2024!
