Meta 3 headset melted when on charge!!!

My headset was on charge using the official charger and it nearly caused a fire while melting the front cover of the headset!! This was 2 weeks ago now and not getting anywhere with the Meta Support even after it was escalated. Any advice?

Excuse me if it sounds unrelated, but previous to the accident where you experiencing display glitches while in use? Like little white sparks/dots appearing into your display vision?

There were a few glitches with white lines but I thought it was the game itself. The headset still has power and can turn on but now only has part of a blue screen. Obviously it’s unplayable but the support team haven’t replied to my email after asking what happened. The charging port itself is also undamaged. Only had it since Christmas too….

Thank you for asking me to wait on the support teams response but that was over a week ago I replied to them and it’s now coming up 3 weeks since me headset went on fire. You clearly don’t take health and safety seriously!
