For some unknown reason I can no longer initiate the Meta AI app using the Oculus button double-click method provided in the Meta Quest guidelines. I realize there is a new controller combination - Oculus button + grip trigger - but this doesn't work either. I had been able to initiate this app for voice commands in order to record and take photos, but now the feature is unresponsive.
The Meta AI button remains activated in the Advanced Settings, and no other settings have changed. Also when I click on the Meta AI box in quick settings, it just clicks with no response. Did Meta break something in the last OS update, and if so, why haven't I seen any notifications about it? I really would like to have voice commands back.

I own a Quest 3 and there has been no response since the controllers were updated a few days ago

Just an update, i have been able to get the ai working by pressing the Meta button quickly. Both times the menu came up first and listening came up above it.

I ended up going into advanced settings, switching off the Meta AI toggle and powering down the Quest for a cold reboot. Once the headset was rebooted, I went back into advanced settings and toggled Meta AI back on. When that happened, I went through the tutorial (again) and my voice commands were working again. The odd thing is the tutorial directed me to press down the Meta button and squeeze the side, grip trigger to activate Meta AI. The Meta button double-tap no longer works for me. How you got it to work is a mystery to me.

Sometimes you have to double tap the grip button.

I just did as you by disabling, rebooting and re-enabling Meta ai. Now it works like you posted. Side grip button and Meta button. Thanks
