So I have a meta account that is linked to my facebook and instagram account. Someone has hacked into my meta account and their email is now attached to my instagram and I cannot remove it as it asks for a code to their email.
I've just logged into Meta from my facebook account but now I cannot access the Business Suite as it asks for email verification from an email address I no longer have and a domain I no longer have access to. If I could gain access I think I could remove this persons email address from my account. I think their email address is even linked to this account, but I didn't have a choice when making it.
I'm honestly not sure how or what exactly has happened. I saw another option where I could remove my instagram and facebook accounts from Meta but does that delete them completely?, would that help me? or even a way just to delete this Meta account?
My Meta business suite account also now has some restrictions on it from last year. I assume from the hacker.
