Are you sure it’s asking you to ADD your date of birth, and not to VERIFY it? Because everyone will be asked to verify their age, which can be as simple as just answering the question, or might require sending a photo of your ID, if there have been different DOBs used for the same person.
Don't ignore it though, or your account will get suspended. If you don’t trust the emails, go to your account on the Meta site. If you have an outstanding verification issue, you should see a notification there.
