I'm receiving emails from Meta to verify age for my account using a credit card or ID... but the same Meta account has already got a valid payment method registered.
@oculusness I verified the account, the email was legit. The real question is, I verified it with the same credit card that was already registered on the same account. If you have an account with a CC already on it, what's the point verifying twice ? That's why the email seemed a scam in the first place... because the CC was already on the account.
@erpymeta it seems, like they're not even checking your current details but maybe just getting you to confirm the details they already have are correct. I was asked if my birth date was correct and I replied with a yes and they were happy with that.

I see. Not in my case though. They did the verification from scratch, entering the CC details in the process started from the email (double risk of a scam... :))) In such cases, where an account already has got a verified payment method, I think they shouldn't have sent the verification email at all - or at least state clearly that the payment method was already registered but needed to be verified again.
