I'm back and updating on my situation. I got to meta's email support but having thought that the meta quest support and email support are in contact sharing info Im a bit disappointed, with the development or I just hope I'm being impatient due to panic.
I'll just list down the issues.
A hacker took over the account of a friend by linking their meta horizon account to it.
They proceed to CHANGE THE EMAIL ADDRESS,THE PASSWORD, THE ORIGINAL PERSONAL DATA, AND ADDED A 2FA TO THEIR DEVICE.
This all means that my friend is logged out and we can not access or enter the account to get screenshots of said malicious account. The only information we have is the email address that Is now associated with the account which is hosted on a temporary domain recently flagged for fraudulent activity.
Now I'd hope that meta can use said email address to continue the case or in fact eventually disabling and deleting the account as I'm more comfortable knowing the account is gone rather than in the hands of some hacker who has access to all conversations with the account followers and social history.
Overall this is a bit disappointing on meta's side with dealing with hacked accounts but once again I just hope I'm being impatient and panicked
