Meta Link suggests installing on a different drive but the only option offered is "QUIT"

Hi everyone,
I need your help/hints
I was working with Quill but suddenly, everything goes blank and upon returning to my Oculus home, I have only the avatar in the mirror and NOTHING ELSE.
No Menu
No apps
NOTHING:

I tried all I can... reboot... repair.. registry cleaning... etc but I still do not have a menu.
I removed and redownloaded the app. Upon trying to install, I was told to choose a different drive with more space than on my OS drive, BUT no instruction how to choose the drive or any other option except QUIT!
I follow "Get help" but the page I was taken to has no reference to a solution.

Does anybody have leads on how to proceed to install on a different drive?
Is there a COMMAND code I can run in the absence of the options except "QUIT"

Every help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Thanks for the input... and pardon my late response.
Here is how I solved the issue: I moved Thunderbird files (17GB) to a different drive and by doing that, I freed up space in C. Only then, with enough space in C, did the option of installing on a different drive showed up.
//Apparently if you do not have enough space on C, it does not give you the option to install somewhere else, DESPITE that it mentions it... making the whole thing Paradox//

Hello there!

Having unexpected issues cropping up within apps can be utterly maddening!

We want to help get you back up and running, and able to enjoy Quill and the Metaverse again!

If you haven't already attempted it you can ensure that the default library directory is accessible.

  1. In the Link PC VR app, click Settings.
  2. Click General.
  3. Click Edit in the Library Locations section.
  4. Select Add Location.
  5. Enter the new location. Do not use OneDrive or a removable storage device as the location.
  6. Set the new location to default for now.

You might also want to reinstall the main Oculus Setup to the drive that you are wanting to change to with the following steps;

  1. Navigate to the folder where you have the OculusSetup.exe file downloaded
  2. In the address bar of the File Explorer window type cmd and press enter
  3. In the Command Prompt window that comes up type the exact following command and press enter: "OculusSetup /drive=[new system drive]"
    • Replace [new system drive] with the desired drive to install the Link PC VR app on

Let us know how it goes, and if this doesn't provide positive results we can look at other options.

Thanks very much!
