I have glasses.
I have the glasses spacer.
I have clean lenses.
I have the correct width spacing.
I can not focus on the screen unless I squint hard, and this is hard to do all the time.
How do I set the FOCUS?

Meta have an arrangement with Zenni for Quest 3 lenses, but there are several other reputable suppliers, like WidmoVR and HonsVR. There are others but I haven't used them personally. I'd suggest Googling "Quest prescription lenses" to get a feel for your options.

This may be a silly question, but are your glasses for distance vision or reading? If you can focus at around 1.5m, you don't need to wear glasses in the headset.

I have glasses for long distance, different glasses for around arms length, and cannot wear glasses for anything I would normally focus on nearer than my elbow. I feel like the design of the Q2 lens has decided to put the focus in the mid-point of the position of about between my elbow and hand, which I can not focus on no matter the glasses. I see that they have no individual focuses like you would have on a dynamic lens (like camera/binocular), I guess I'm not the intended audience.

The focal point is around 1.3-1.5m, which is quite a bit further up a typical arm than that.

Hmm. Are there any other extensions available other than the standard 'glasses mount' that might move the headset further away from my eyes, it seems that is the problem. Can I stack 3 standard 'glasses mounts' on each other or something? Are they sold separately?

I can imagine they might stack but every additional one will reduce the field of view and reduce immersion. To be honest, most people order a set of prescription inserts that replicate the prescription of whatever glasses they use to view things at 1.5m. They stay attached to the headset, don't need any extra spacers, tend to make the headset way more comfortable, remove the risk of glasses scratching the delicate lenses and act as lens protectors too.

this sounds ideal. what are they, and how does one order them?
