Setting up a 2nd hand MQ2, Factory resetted pre purchase and on first set up i have personally factory reset it again.
Issue lies within when i select my home network(my network provider is Glide), the page to sign into their website fails to load, trying to sign in with my pc/phone on their portal works just fine. I have also tried to add my phone hotspot, and initially succeeded, however my quest did an update + restart, and when i try to add my hotspot again, it fails to add it to the list, and the keyboard does not disappear, with also a black box appearing behind the wifi selection list which i cannot get rid of. I have also tried to turn hotspot on and off, change passwords and try bluetooth as well all to no avail.
Furthermore, i have also tried to connect it to my pc and the oculus app as well as my pc as well recognise it as a connected device, yet i cannot connect to the wifi via my pc either(which is connected via an ethernet cable)
I am at a loss as to why my wifi provider's portal fails to load - (ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED) message, or as to why my hotspot worked at first and yet now cannot even be saved or joined.
It seems to me that the only way to resolve this is to try a different internet provider, but thats a whole other situation.
Please help ASAP.
