Whenever I move the left stick within a 40 degree threshold of forward my character (in regular (not jump movement) games) moves backwards, then if I move the stick to be just outside that threshold it moves me forward but at a diagonal, is there a way to fix this or should I buy a new one?
*This is NOT stick drift, it happened randomly the day after thanksgiving, have only had very slight stick drift on right controller, none on left*
It definitely sounds like stick drift, which is a generic term applied to any sort of damaging wear in the joystick modules.
