Meta Quest 2 Screen Problem

indicle

I bought a new Meta Quest 2 yesterday and when i tried playing some games on it, i noticed it looks very weird. i dont really know how to explain it but when i cover my right eye and shake my head aggressively, it looks normal. but when i cover my left eye and shake my head aggressively, it becomes blurry and there seems to be a delay, i told a friend that knows alot about bugs and glitches and he said its probably screen input delay, my Quest 2 is completely unusable with this screen glitch, do i have to return it or can i fix it? (i tried a sideload update, normal update, factory reset, and a hard reboot, but it still happens)

Hey there, @indicle! We saw you were having some interesting issues with a new Meta Quest 2, and we would be glad to lend a hand! To start things off, we listed a few questions for you below:

  • Is the left eye showing a delay when you do not aggressively shake your head?
  • Is this only happening in the home environment or in a specific game/app?
  • Has the headset encountered any physical damage or liquids?
  • Are your headset and Meta Quest mobile app up to date?
  • Did you purchase this headset from Meta.com?
