Meta Quest 2 almost caught fire while charging

Last week we put my son's Meta Quest 2 on the charger, came back moments later to smoke coming from it and a strong burning smell. Thankfully we noticed what was happening and managed to turn the charger off and disconnect from the headset. I contacted support and was advised I'd definitely have a response within 48 hours. As suspected 48 hours came and went with no response. I contacted support again explaining the frustration over this and was informed they guaranteed we would have a response within 24 hours. 

 

Here we are, 40 hours later, with no response. How does anything get resolved with this company??  On searching here i see this is a common problem, how can they get away with this? The company is a total disaster to deal with. Items bought as Christmas presents going on fire months later

The ticket is still open and I am still waiting for a response. I contacted support again yesterday and they were shocked that nothing had been done yet. They transferred the tickets to another member of the "specialized team" as it had not been progressed by the previous member. Here I am, another 24 hours on, and still no response.

 

Please provide me details of who to contact to make a complaint?

I have still had no response whatsoever to my query through Meta Customer Support. Is anyone in this company able to do anything regarding this matter? How can I continue working with you for assistance if no one from Meta contacts me?
