Meta Quest 2 freezes every time I plug it in, then it reboots. I have already tried power cycle and holding power and volume down button and then clicking on boot. And neither of those fixed the issue. Its super annoying when your in the middle of a game, and if the USB-C disconnects even a little, it freeze and reboots.
the problem you describe might be caused by a faulty cable. I had that once......I could not see any damage at my cable but with a new cable my problems were solved. I play cable linked without issues....so I think, it's not a general problem.
