Make sure to disable 2.4/5Ghz band steering.  Also try selecting a different 5Ghz channel (not auto).  I use ch36/80mhz and I play Air Link 2-3m from my router.  If you are more than 10-15m away and/or on other side of walls/floors, you may never connect.  You may also want to try Virtual Desktop from the Quest store.  Some find this easier to setup.  Otherwise, contact meta support including your log file and see if they can identify what’s causing your issue.

Sorry I can’t be of more help mate.  Good luck, bye, and cheers.

Try switching your network to Public (recommended setting for home use).

Hey there @YoungYangsta, we appreciate you getting in touch about this. We can some basic troubleshooting as follows:

  • Have the PC connected to Router/Access Point via Ethernet cable and not Wi-Fi
  • Headset should be connected to Wi-Fi via 5GHz band (AC or AX)
  • Router in the same room as the headset or in line-of-sight, and at least 1m (3.3ft) off the ground
  • Non-mesh network configuration

Other than that, we'd also like to ask you to perform standard Bluetooth connection troubleshooting such as hard resets on both devices, making sure both devices are ready to pair and that you have no external accessories that could be interrupting your connection. Thanks!

Hey, sorry I did not get back sooner. But the Virtual Desktop seemed to be the only solution. Sucks having to buy an app but at least now I can play the games on my PC. Appreciate your help and information.
