Meta Quest 3 No longer recognised after update by app - right pro controller not working.

My headset just updated, my headset is now not recognised by the app.  It says the headset has synced and I can see my apps and the headset works - but the setting is greyed out.  If I try to do anything in the app, it asks me to enter in the code it offers up and tells me to type in the code that appears in the headset.  No code appears in the headset.  Worse still, since the update my right pro controller has been completely disabled after the controller firmware updated.  I have no way to access controller settings given the other issue and so I cannot unpair and attempt to repair?  Anyone have an idea here?

I get seriously irritated by firmware that seems to break that which works perfectly prior.
