Meta Quest 3 - Right eye display stopped working

Brand new Meta Quest 3, just started using it today. Installed the Elite Strap with battery, everything was working fine.
 
Took a short break, when I came back and put the headset back on, the right lens showed no image. There is some light in the right lens, but no image is being shown.
 
I tried turning off the headset by doing a "hard reboot", pressing the volume down and power button for 10 seconds. After reboot, same issue, no image in the right eye. Then I tried to do a factory reset, but this did not help either.
 
What should I do? This is a brand new device.

use your warranty and return it to wherever you bought it.

If you bought it directely from Meta, contact support.

Send a PM @MetaQuestSupport 

click on their name to visit their profile page, then click the "send message" button.

Thanks for the feedback, I've contacted @MetaQuestSupport already.

I was hoping there was a way to fix it myself, but I've not found other people posting about the same issue. Super disapointed that the unit became defective after less than 1 hour of use.

Yes, I completely understand, but.....
....better now than when the warranty has expired

Final update, I went to the shop today and they immediately gave me a replacement unit after observing the issue. Super happy with the customer service there.

New unit works perfectly so far.
