Meta Quest 3. USB Update Mode Loop and Factory reset does not work.


January 18, 2024.
When shutting down meta quest3, it showed that there was an update.
so I tried shutting it down after connecting the charger.


USB update mode repeats when booting, and i try factory reset, it is not possible.

It became a brick.

 

Is there no method like recovery FW?

For future Googlers: this problem was never fixed, Meta will send you a replacement unit only if you are in the warranty window AND living in the same country that you bought the device . Otherwise (like my case) youll be left with a bricked unit .
