Everything was fine until the developers of the quest 3 software sent out an update to everyone. my headset was updated from v72 to v74 and no longer starts. I have been suffering for several days looking for an answer. But even the META support service cannot help because they do not have an answer to this question. I did all the recommendations according to the instructions. even updated via cable through a browser from the official META website. I also did a factory reset. and much more but nothing helped. the headset reboots, the META logo appears and then a black dark screen constantly

Make sure that the sensor that is located center top inside the quest is not blocked. It is a small black dot in between the lenses. If the sensor is blocked the screens will go black after the meta logo turns off during the boot.
Usually it is because the cushion at the top is blocking the sensor.

thank you for the advice. but I know that the sensor can block. I removed the mask and the panel as well as the sensor so that it would not block. And this did not give any results. I also tried flashing via cable, the wire loaded successfully, installed successfully, but as a result, no changes.

I was hoping that would be the issue. I had the same problem when I changed my facial interface. I put the cushion on too low and my screen went out.
Have you contacted Meta support about getting a warranty repair or replacement? (If your Quest is still under warranty)

Yes, I contacted customer support about the warranty. My headset is still under warranty, it has 10 months. But the thing is that my country is not supported by the Meta company warranty.

Same problem. When turned on the logo doesn't even spin, then after 3 minutes it starts spinning, and then a black screen

I had an issue with the meta logo boot loop of death on a quest 2. I had to remove the inner faceplate to get access to the front faceplate screws. After removing the front faceplate, I disconnected the main battery from the motherboard and pressed all the buttons on the headset to discharge any capacitors. After re-connecting the battery, the headset worked. This may also work for quest 3. Not for the faint hearted, but a phone repair shop may undertake the work.

I did this primarily because the Quest 3 headset did not turn off. I removed the front panel, disconnected the battery for a few minutes, but this did not help. Then I disassembled the headset, took out the motherboard, checked the flash memory, it turned out that it was out of order. My friends also have the same problem. The final verdict. The Meta company uses cheap and low-quality memory chips that work out the warranty period and fail. It is very expensive to replace this chip. Therefore, I do not advise taking the headset and products of the Meta company. It is better to look at another brand with higher quality parts

these memory chips are of very poor quality. You can check it yourself by disassembling your headset. so I think everyone will have the same problem in the future. It's just a matter of time.

@caesar.526684 do you think your headset may have got into this state, and would the fix get your headset working?
I turned on Surface updates and now I'm stuck in a bootloop : r/OculusQuest
