Hi all,
I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3 in the US while on vacation. I am from Argentina. I tested it while I was in the US and it seemed to work fine. Back home, initially, it seemed OK as well, but I noticed that often, certain artifacts would appear on the screen. First it was things like a red glow (I don't know how to best describe it), or like a layer or cloud that would appear on top of the image in a static fashion. I soon figured that it only happened on the right eye. Sometimes, it would go away if I pressed the button on the left side of the device. Sometimes it stayed there even when I did that. Sometimes, a reboot helped it, but recently, I have been seeing all sorts of artifacts, all on the right eye. The worst one yet is what you will see in the photos and videos below. Three diagonal lines appeared with a red glow. The lines oddly enough coincide with the three dots that appear when Oculus Link tries to load. But the issue persists even if I don't connect it to my PC and even after a reboot, a night cooling, and prayer.
I contacted Meta and they offered to have me send it back and they would check it and send back another unit if it was defective. Of course, I can't do this from Argentina, so I need to travel to the US and stay there for however long this process would take.

Is this a common problem? I wanted to raise awareness so that this didn't happen to anyone else. Thanks for any help you can provide!
