Meta Quest 3 headset tracking loss

I’ve had a metaquest three for a pretty long time now I’ve never had this issue, but when I went to use it Yesterday it didn’t work it just Said headset tracking loss after a while, instead of saying headset tracking last, I went to the met quest logo blinking on and off but today when I checked on it, it was just headset tracking loss, so I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried almost everything other than factory reset cause I don’t want to lose my progress So I don’t know what to do nowIMG_2605.jpeg

Thank you for letting us know that your getting a "Headset tracking lost" error message. We know that this issue definitely puts up roadblocks to your VR world. However, please do not worry; we would love to help you out.

 

We see that you have already done a bit of troubleshooting, but can you please clarify if you have done the following:

 

  • Have you cleared your Guardian history? If you’re having problems with tracking, clearing your Guardian history can often fix the issue. Here is an article that goes over how to do this.

 

Afterwards, please restart your headset.

 

  • With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  • Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.

 

If you're unable to restart your headset,

  • Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. This will manually turn off your headset.
  • Wait 30 seconds.
  • Press and hold the power button until your headset turns back on.

it still doesn’t work

I have tried almost everything and I don’t wanna lose my progress, so I’m not sure what to do
